The World Economic Forum (WEF) conveys the cyber message so simply, so compelling and so well.
Is there anything stopping us from listening, believing and from acting. Is it the FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt), the not invented here, or simply it won’t impact me debate which we all push out. On top of the economic, social and technological pressures
Cyber is a proven geopolitical, criminal and economic risk, which is difficult to contain. It is why it is listed by the WEF as a top risk and the ECB as a risk to global banking. It is of course possible that both these institutions believe in FUD. There is plenty of snake oil feeding the fire of knowledge, or lack of it. Which only a successful cyber attack exposes.
