The EU is not alone. All nations have the same challenge with the Cybersecurity skills gap, and its not just a skills gap the EU faces. Cybersecurity skills require education, experience and knowledge to be addressed.

Cyber regulation requires that organisations from the board room to the shop floor. Boards must be able to demonstrate skills knowledge and experience over cyber security risks. A requirement that necessitate the whole organisation manages cybersecurity risk.

As the report demonstrates the EU has challenges with identifying skills, resources and educating the workforce on cybersecurity risk management. Requiring EU member states close the cybersecurity skills gap. The next question is, how?
