A great report. Cyber in all its forms is a very diverse space. There are no geographic boundaries, class boundaries, society boundaries and no corporate boundaries. Cyber is a class of risk which impacts anything where sensitive data resides, electronic or otherwise and where the costs associated with an attack always outweigh the costs of compliance.
As a subject it doesn’t really understand the differences between the sexes. We all offer different skills, experiences and perspectives. Which are needed to address cyber as a risk. It’s a concern that we aren’t getting more women into the subject to create balance across the cyber market place. One where there’s going to be a short fall in skilled resources over the next 5 years and one where we need more diversity.
