Cyber requires a whole of society approach and having a visible continual presence reaffirming and reinforcing the cyber message is important. Keeping society informed of what has happened and why, and what will be done to address the problem. Taking to social media and the press is an age old tradition to assure those affected, that the issue is being taken seriously and being managed.
Kind of makes you think about what goes into a good incident response plan.
