Call us now:
A simple demonstration of why Governance of AI is critical. This month’s roll-out of ClawdBot has captured a lot of media attention. It started with good intentions, but has now morphed into a demonstration and use case of why AI Governance and Cybersecurity Governance are critical.
The App has taken off globally, with users piling into the app and sharing their sensitive data. However, concerns are being raised that many users do not understand the implications of using the App. It seems that the ClawdBot, now a Moltbot agent, needs access to all your credentialing crown jewels, including API keys of the most sensitive Apps users access, such as email, messaging, social media, GitHub, and more. The App is a hackers tool kit in its own right; it can execute browser automation, run shell/ terminal commands, manage local files and directories, run scripts, and workflow automation.
Raising questions about the use of Moltbot by both individuals and organisations, and the sharing of sensitive personnel and corporate information. If an organisation decides that it wants to use the App to improve internal productivity (not unreasonable), it may have given away its keys to the kingdom to an AI Agent. Add to that, security researchers have highlighted the easy by which Moltbot infrastructure can be compromised.
As it is being described, the rollout of Moltbot has to be the fastest global deployment of a system compromise in history. What will insurance companies now do? Individuals and companies may have given away access to sensitive data and exposed their systems through an AI agent. Will they insure claims from companies affected by cyberattacks or data breaches?
