A well written article from the Economic Research Council (ERC). This paper is not so much about the fate of the airlines as the Corona virus continues to impact the global. For me its an insightful paper which starts to paint the picture of the fragility of global economics.
Over a 6 week period the World has moved from having a metaphoric sniffle to the full blown flu. It raises interesting questions around the fragility of global markets, the employment status are large parts of the working population and the options the lenders of last resort have to consider moving forward.
