AI is the least of the new governments technology worries. The UK is so far behind the curve on cybersecurity risk management, upon which AI is dependent what it is going to do? AI is a ‘Game-Changer’, for good and for bad.
AI will ‘turbo charge growth’……one suggests that the government goes and looks at how its going to secure data and prevent AI Model Poisoning and Hallucinations. So much loved by lawyers.
Cybersecurity is a threat to national, economic, and societal security. Its foundational to AI amounts many other technologies. AI is a threat to National Security, therefore which ‘Chicken’ or ‘Egg’ is the government going to focus on first, security or AI, or maybe both?
One could write the UK cyber strategy in a day and following an 80:20, get it where it needs to be. This report says it all

Our U.S and EU partners decided to regulate cyber, when the last UK government ‘Buried its head in the sand’ and prayed. One is looking forward to seeing what the new government will do, now it holds the reigns.
