An interesting article on the twists and turns in U.S DoD cybersecurity under the new Presidential regime. One wonders how the new regime is going to react, given the development of cyber as a national security threat; the acquisition of DoD IP through cyber attacks and data theft, and the intrusion of nation states in U.S CNI. One wonders is the answer a dedicated service reporting to the DoD and ONCD, to secure defense IP and national cybersecurity? The DoD has had FISMA to fall back on for 23 years, the tools are there, it only requires the willing. It begs a question. How much of every $ spent on weapon systems ends up on someone else’s plate, due to cyber attacks and data theft. Or how much corporate IP ends up being acquired by those that did not pay for its creation?@Thaddeus Dziekanowski Brian D.
