And here in lies the problem that makes AI dangerous.
Summarizing articles, labelling images and crafting sentences. Generative AI is powerful when it is used against structured uncontaminated data. It’s powerful when used against unstructured data, but what happens if you take unstructured data and try to give it structure and you change the sentiment, context or even content of data to create different a message and you do it at scale?
Generative AI relies upon enough sources of data to correlate the same answer, irrespective of it being the right answer. What happens if you shape enough data to create a difference answer? You change how AI models behave. If AI believes the answer to a question is 37, because enough sources have said it is 37, it creates a problem especially if the answer is 17.
