As sure as eggs is eggs’, when geopolitical tensions rise we see a rise of cyber attacks on CNI, such as shipping. With around 80% of world trade carried by sea, the shipping value chain is an opportune target.

The enclosed highlights findings in a recent study raising major concerns by the shipping industry of the threat of cyber.

‘The international rules-based order . . . the great system [that benefited shipping] since the second world war is under threat like never before,” said Guy Platten, secretary-general at the International Chamber of Shipping’
