Assessment against GDPR maybe about to be tested by the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC)

Not actually a data breach, but a failure to clarify data protection usage, policy and oversight has been bought into question by the DPC against the Irish Department of Employment and Social Protection (DESP)

The DESP may have been collecting biometric data after all, but not declaring it.
