Capita looks to be suffering with its data security, as Colchester council reports that its data has been found on unsecured amazon backet.

Colchester Council said it had expressed Ã¢¬Åextreme disappointment with CapitaÃ¢¬ following revelations of a Ã¢¬Åserious data breachÃ¢¬ after files which include benefits data for 2019-20 and 2020-21 were found on an unsecured Amazon Data Bucket controlled by Capita.

One would think that this cannot be good for the firm that relies the public sector for its contracts. With EU NIS 2 regulation coming across CNI and Financial Institutions, one would think that its UK and EU clients may be asking some difficult questions about cyber and data security.
