Capvision a consultancy firm with U.S links has been raided by the Chinese authorities, in what is thought to be increased scrutiny over global consultancy firms. Coming at a time when Chinese authorities launched probes on Bain and Company and Mintz group.
China’s recent focus on national security and updating counterespionage laws that maybe manifesting itself in these investigations, as companies such as Capvision are involved in data gathering in support of institutional investors.
