Cyber Essentials raises so many questions for UK industry, at a time when other nations are releasing cyber regulations that quite simply dwarf cyber essentials in every respect.

However, a bigger concern for me is the impact of EU and U.S cyber regulation on UK industry. Cyber is becoming a barrier for entry and one that does not simply get implemented overnight. By not developing comparable cyber regulations the UK runs the risk of UK business running 2 speed cyber programs, one for the EU/ U.S the other for the UK. Especially when EU and U.S cyber regulations impact SMEs in the UK.
