Cyber is a national security issue, there is no doubt. As tensions rise in the APAC region, we can expect this type of threat to only increase. Intelligence gathering that one suspects all nation state offensive teams are working on.
One is concerned about the cyber preparedness of companies in the region. The cyber skills of nation state threat actors are far in advance of corporate cyber teams. Nation states can deploy vast amounts of skilled resources against targets, that was clarified recently by the directors of the FBI at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.
