Cybersecurity capability figures are as old as the hills, and can be used to paint just about any picture that you wish. But what is true is that cyber is a concern for boards, and a concern that will grow as cyber regulation develops.

Irrespective of national cyber developments, cyber regulation outside of the UK creates barriers to entry to international markets such as the U.S and EU. When other countries see cyber as a threat to national security and seek to address CNI cyber compliance through regulation, one has to pay attention. Especially if you are looking to forge new relations with new sales partners.
