Diamonds are forever, more so than the price of crypto.
Graff diamonds paid a $7.5Million ransom demand in bitcoin in November 2021. They are suing their insurer Travelers for losses over the extortion, saying that the payment should be covered under their insurance policy.
I wonder if paying the ransomware would be impacted by the U.S. Department of Treasury OFAC rules? Are Conti or its members on the OFAC list?
