Dutch data protection regulator Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP) published the enclosed topical paper on the need to control AI, or face a Wild West of AI risks. Risk that will be difficult to manage as Gen AI consumes data at an unprecedented rate, and cannot and will not be put back into the genie’s bottle.

AI regulation, like cyber regulation, is moving ahead across the EU, US, and APAC. In an attempt to build the foundations for AI risk management. AP set out its vision for AI risk management, while maintaining AI’s potential for innovation and value creation.
