EU NIS 2 was added the EU Journal in January 2023, with a deadline for October 2024 for EU member states to transpose the regulation into their national regulations. Ahead of and effectove date of January 2025.

Not all member states have ben able to transpose regulation in time.

One suspects that the EU will be required to let those that have not transposed NIS 2, and DORA, time to enable the regulations into their local laws.
