Here in is todays lesson about cybersecurity.
If you can access a system to ransom data, there’s little stopping you deleting data. As has been the case with Indian Delivery Start-up KrianPro. That found itself in the unfortunate position of finding that it could not access its systems. The company cannot access its code saved in GitHub, lost access to its AWS account, cannot pay employees and its investors may not be to happy, as it just raised $1.2million in seed.
Whether it was an ex-employee that had not been taken off its systems or an outside attack. The company is now in the unenviable position of having to find out what happened to its data and having to rebuild its IT estate.
