Here in lies a problem for the UK government, especially with the publication this week of the UK Defence Investment Plan this week. The problem is that Cyber is being enabled by AI and this alone has stuck a ricket behind cyber capabilities, capabilities that the bad guys are already leveraging.

Any delay in publishing the UK cyber strategy, delays UK companies complying with cybersecurity regulation and managing cyber risk. At a time when cybersecurity risk is being accelerated by AI.
