If correct the MoD contractor Shared Services Connected Ltd (SSCL) knew about the hack and data breach in February, and won a contract to monitor MoD cybersecurity in April. Why was the company bidding for a cyber contract, when it likely breached UK GDPR.

‘Whitehall worries over a lack of transparency by SSCL have raised concerns that there could be a wider compromise of its systems.’

When will the UK regulate cybersecurity risk management, and hold boards accountable for cyber? The U.S and EU have reached the conclusion that boards need to be held accountable for cyber risk management.

At what point do we reach the conclusion that cyber is a threat to national security?
