In a regulatory report yesterday Volex the specialist integrated manufacturer of critical power and data transmission products announced that it has been affected by a cyber attack. The attack is reported to have effected its UK and international sites. As yet there is no other information, albeit the company is saying that there is no material impact.

Its client base includes a broad range of industry sectors such as Aerospace, Defense, Consumer Goods, EV, and data centers. Its share price took a hit in trading yesterday, but is slowly bounding back. One waits to see if there has been a further effect on its operations.

One is seeing more companies using the term ‘material’ in filings.
