In football scoring an own goal is never a good thing. The same is true, it appears, in software development, cybersecurity and national security.

So, it appears that another own goal has been scored, as the door was opened to engineers based in China, to fix bugs by Microsoft in it products for US Government Agencies.

One can only assume secure by design was not considered in its SDLC………….did anyone watch the Congressional presentation given by Chris Wray in 2024 about nation state access to CNI and pre-positioning?
