It’s becoming a game of Russian Roulette for insurers and the insured. On one side you have the increase in cyber attacks, on the other ICT risks that can include those associated with third party suppliers, including cyber Tech.

One is not sure that one can, or should, shout to loudly, if the vast majority of costs were uninsured. The Crowdstrike incident only goes to reinforce the challenges that insurers and the insured face with cyber and ICT risk transfer. Both risks need solutions to demonstrate proactive management of cyber risk left of bang. A requirement being forced upon some covered boards by regulators. A requirement that boards do not understand, are not prepared for and have little understanding of until it is to late.

There comes a time when you lose at the game of Russian Roulette. So there needs to be a better solution. Fortunately we created one.
