It’s not just M&A. Data is the most important corporate asset, period.
Data is the only corpoeate asset an organisation possess that once compromised promised through poor cyber risk management, impacts every aspect of corporate performance, shareholder value and carries the legal risk associated with failure to meet regulatory compliance. Cimpliance that comes with civil and criminal sanctions for board members.
Lets not forget our dependency on digital and AI. That is predicated on our creation and consumption of data.
So I’d say that managing and securing data us kinda important @Thaddeus Dziekanowski.
