I’ve always felt that the CISO is one of the hardest job within an organisation, it’s certainly one of the most stressful. Your key stakeholders almost certainly do not understand the risk, you’re often thought of as a technical solution provide and invariably find it hard to converse with the board room in a language that they understand.

Things will only continue to get worst, as the cyber regulatory environment increases, if we don’t fundamentally address the skills we need to manage the risk, internal and external oversight is rising and boards fail to understand what the impact of cyber is to their companies and importantly their personal livelihoods.
