Last night the UK Attorney General Set out the UKs position on cybersecurity, international law and the need for a clear framework for cybersecurity, that make clear when state action is unlawful. Treating a cyber-attack the same as a physical attack, and requiring guidance.
There needs to be agreed rules globally for cyber space by Nation states, for example NATO treats cyberspace as a separate domain of operation, alongside kinetic. The Ukraine crisis is first ‘Hybrid’ war that has demonstrated the use of both kinetic and cyber. The cyber debate is moving forward.
