Norsk hydro is starting to recoup its losses following the 2019 cyber-attack. Reporting that $20.2 Mn in insurance has been paid out so far, against its estimated losses of between $70Mn – $80Mn (25% – 28%). They expect more to follow.
I’m not sure what ‘deemed virtually certain’ means, other than there’s an ongoing conversation on coverage. Will it cover the short fall I wonder?
