One believes that it’s appropriate to discuss how the cyber threat is evolving. But it’s like putting radar on the Titanic and ignoring it. We know there’s an iceberg ahead, but we have no strategy to correct course; the ship is too big and too heavy to steer a course around it if we could, and there aren’t enough lifeboats.
We all live in a society that depends on digital, and we have demonstrated what happens when it breaks. We know icebergs exist, and yet ships keep sinking.
We need more Left of Bang conversations about how to avoid the icebergs and what to do when we see one, and fewer conversations on how many icebergs there are.
