One wonders how the Australian DIB (and international DIB for that matter) that contracts with the US DoD has and will comply with their obligations under DFARS 252.204-7012 and DFARS 252.204-7021. For all suppliers across all tiers of the Aukus Supply Chain, CMMC compliance has been required and will be required. CMMC compliance becomes mandatory for all DoD contracts as it is phased in over the next 3 years.

From steel manufacturers, uranium producers, weapons system designers, those that will build the facilities, and if you read the US Defence Logistics Agency, those that provide on-base services. All are required to comply with DoD CMMC.
