Perfection does not exist. Unless your business operates in a vacuum, employs 2 people, or you’ve spent a lot of money on cyber and risk management, you will never get anywhere close to 110. Any audit professional will tell you that.

A perfect score is a big red flashing light to the DCMA and the DoW. It says look over here, look at me, and no one wants that. Least of all, a defence contractor.

I’ve been through more cyber audits than most, audited across frameworks simpler than 171. I have never had a perfect score in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd pass.
