Researchers have created a system to spoof the ILS system used by civil aircraft of all shapes and sizes.. Not so much a hack, but a good example of the logical and physical overlap.

Whilst it may not create a catastrophic failure over night. It demonstrates the impact on technology as modern logical threats are applied to the older technology we use today.
