One would suggest that the Australians are better prepared for cyber than most countries. Standards and frameworks are in place, regulation is in place, it’s a matter of delivery. Not all countries are this well prepared, which is a major concern.

Delivery is the issue and this is supported by a recent statement by the U.S National Cyber Director Chris Inglis who made the point that …….something like market forces only takes us so far.”

The question that needs answering is – ‘we spend allot on cyber, but why are we are not addressing the problem.’
