Ted Dziekanowski, there is little doubt that developments in U.S and EU cyber regulation increases civil and criminal liabilities for covered entities. With cyber caselaw being written under older regulations, recent regulatory changes will be further tested. As regulations provide clear guidance for covered entities.

The enclosed is a summary of the possible implications of recent changes in U.S regulations for U.S contractors and publicly trade companies. As the plaintiffs bar rises and organization’s are required to take reasonable and adequate steps to manage cyber risk. Steps that covered entities maybe required to demonstrate in court.
