Ted Dziekanowski, with so much that needs to be done to meet cybersecurity regulatory compliance, with so little resource available, and with consultancies selling audit and cyber skills. Why is there so little work, its perplexing. Are covered entities waiting for the first major fine to set off demand, are they just cash strapped to address the SEC final rule, EU NIS 2, DORA, the U.S DoD DFARS. Or are entities they just avoiding the consultancies and going it alone?

With the penalties for board cyber non-compliance driving compliance, what’s going on?
