@Thaddeus Dziekanowski it all starts at the bottom. If you can’t sort out your data governance then you don’t have the foundations for the management of cybersecurity and AI. We’re seeing moves to govern cybersecurity risks through regulation, however unless you can demonstrate governance over data it will be difficult to govern both cybersecurity and AI.
One only has to look at last weeks announcement of the finalization of the U.S DoD CMMC program. A program that regulates the cybersecurity over Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) through NIST SP 800-171. That requires covered entities demonstrate the security over CUI Data.
