Thank you Andrew Alston. The 2023 Parliamentary report says much about the UKs cyber posture, the governments response was intriguing. Furthermore the UK government was mentioned in a 2022/2023 Congressional draft National Defense Authorization Act; raising concerns over its management of the cyber of its DIB and the protection of U.S defence information.
The obvious and simple questions to ask are what is the UK’s cybersecurity risk management strategy; what is the nations defensive cyber posture; how will the UK align its defensive cyber strategy and delivery of cybersecurity risk management. In line with cyber regulation of its partner nations including the U.S, EU, APAC and 5 eyes.
One would hope that the incoming government recognizes the cyber threat. At a time when cyber has become a national and economic security threat.
