With the development of cyber regulation and enforcement programs cybersecurity risk management is being driven ‘Left of Bang’. As regulators set expectations that chairs, boards and their leadership teams demonstrate their organisations management of cybersecurity, through risk management, governance and attestation. That requires a proactive ‘Left of Bang’ approach to managing cyber and preventing it escalating into costly incidents that cannot be easily managed.
