Thank you, Bryan Foss. Throwing money at JLR does more than ignore the real engineering weakness of Jaguar Land Rover. The money sends a green light to hackers, as the government has become the Insurer of Last resort for JLR.

The hack demonstrates the issues with the UK’s cybersecurity and the lack of an objective cybersecurity strategy, which requires UK public and private sector companies to manage cybersecurity. All countries lack the knowledge and experience of cybersecurity necessary to manage cyber risk.
