Thank you for posting Douglas Robare.

It’s all who you know, the days of what you know have long since gone. For example, several years back, Crypto was going to change everything; now that’s a conversation that’s ticking along in the background.

Yes, things are starting to smell like the financial crisis of 2008, and things smell similar to the bubbles that popped up prior to and post 2008. However, AI is a little different. AI is, without doubt, a very powerful tool. Mythos demonstrated that AI is too powerful for today’s organisations. It could do more to disrupt cybersecurity than defend against it, and that’s a very big problem when nation states use it to attack, and you have no defence.

AI is being adopted without a clear understanding of what and how it will be used. AI gives everyone access to an assault rifle, without a manual and without any rules of engagement. Better still, it sticks an autonomous vehicle on it and allows it to go and wander, as we saw with Open Claw. Now, strap investment vehicles, with little clear governance, and you create a speed to market that you cannot stop, that is predicated on money. That’s always a dangerous position to take as money controls everything, until, of course, it doesn’t, when the banking system falls over. Hence, the panic with banking regulators when Mythos was released.
