Thank you for posting Olaf Classen. As we move towards electrification of the transport network, security is paramount. If you cannot secure the user interface and manage basic certificate security, what does that say about the risks to the EV network behind the screen? What happens if you gain access to an EV charger and then move laterally across the EV charging network. So much for the cybersecurity risk assessment and product sign off process before the chargers went live.

One wonders the effect of EU NIS 2 on EV chargers, as it is clearly a category covered by the regulation. Now that the CRA has been agreed by EU member states, there will be 36 months to ensure that the manufacturers of digital products and services sign-off their product security.
