Thank you for posting Olaf Classen. ATM machine manufacturer Nixdorf has informed business partners of a cyber attack on its supply chain.
Munich-based Planfocus that supplies cash to Nixdorf ATMs has been hacked. Resulting in the theft of operational data including identification numbers of ATMs, bank branch addresses, the amount of money withdrawn for individual ATMs in a certain period of time and the amount of cash replenishment for individual ATMs.
Data that creates a history of machine transactions, enabling more targeted attacks in the future.
