Thank you for posting Ted Dziekanowski. Supply chain risk is as old as the hills and extended supply chains have increased the attack surface for many manufactures. In some cases the ‘crown jewels’ have been sent out without the thought of security, that is complex and difficult to manage across international boarders. Alongside which SDLC processes likely did not keep up with development or product release security. Products that have become core to the operation of our organizational infrastructure as we digitize. Organisations that themselves have not implemented appropriate cybersecurity practices.
