Thank you for sharing Ted Dziekanowski. The U.S. Government through CISA and NIST has developed several CSF profiles for Critical National Infrastructure (CNI)(https://lnkd.in/dMB4bsmU). Including Health, the Defence Industry Base, Manufacturing and Transportation, and the American Bankers Association (ABA) has a CSF profile for Financial Services.
CSF profile align cybersecurity practices with governance, strategy, the business environment and risk management. With so much effort being put into industry specific Cybersecurity Framework Profiles, one suspects that they will form part of CNI cybersecurity baseline compliance for Federal Government. Something the DoD and SEC want through their respective cyber compliance programs. CSF profiles are required in NIST SP 800-37R2 for FISMA and OMB A 130 compliance. Both Congressional regulations.
