Call us now:
Thank you Stephen Pitt-Walker, JD, FGIA. Cyber has always focused on ‘Right of Bang’, when it is to late. One only has to look at the historic cyber strategies of most governments that have predominantly focused cyber as an offensive domain (that incidentally is not wrong).
Our cyber training has focused offensive skills such as threat assessment and pen testing, when we need to have CISOs that are able to implement risk management programs, cybersecurity practices such as ISO 27001 or NIST SP 800-171 that include 100 more practices.
Cyber is now moving ‘Left of Bang’ as regulators in the U.S, EU and Australia address defensive cyber. Requiring boards to govern, oversight and assure cyber risks, for cyber professionals to implement risk management frameworks, cybersecurity practices and demonstrate compliance. For cyber insurance companies to work with their clients as ‘risk management experts’, to manage cyber risk.
