Thanks for posting Kris Carter. The UK Defence trade associations, Team Defence Information, ADS Group and techUK have been actively communicating CMMC to the Industry and engaging with NATO. We’ve run several awareness sessions over the past months, unfortunately the message is slow to get through.

Thanks for bringing out that you are seeing suppliers being blocked from contracts. It focuses the mind on the reality of the DoDs December ruling and if companies don’t comply to NIST SP 800 – 171 and upload your results into SPRS then the DoD may not award contracts. The precursor to CMMC.

Following on from Giustino Fumagalli, CISM CBCP CRISC PMP LRM message, there is capability in the UK and Europe to support defence contractors. There is a need for more trained resources and the recognition of the reality of the CMMC ruling. To ensure that the UK and Europe retains valuable defence business.
