Thanks for posting Ted Dziekanowski It seems that some U.S and EU regulators are taking a leaf out of the SEC book. Setting regulatory regimes that place the responsibility on boards to implement, assure and attest cybersecurity risk management compliance.

One hopes that New York covered Finance institutions will be well placed to implement the proposed changes, given the current NYDFS cybersecurity requirements and those of Basel III. What these recent NYDFS regulations put in place is the framework for regulating financial institutions and their boards commitment to attestation cybersecurity risk management.
