Thanks for posting Ted Dziekanowski. It’s a great video for companies wishing to understand cybersecurity compliance for manufacturing. Describing the benefits of using the CSF profile for manufacturing, its alignment with NIST SP 800-171 and closing the gaps between 171 and the manufacturing CSF. Addressing profiles and risk management practices as defined by NIST and providing a more flexible approach cybersecurity risk management.

Cybersecurity risk management compliance is a complex and expensive process. CSF is an appropriate solution for manufacturing companies, supporting Governance, Strategy, Business environment and Risk Management practices. I agree, if the SEC moves forward with cybersecurity compliance for public companies, as is expected. The CSF profiles are a more cost effective solution for cyber risk compliance and can be mapped directly to NIST SP 800-171.
