The American Hospital Association (AHA) has reported that almost all U.S Hospitals were hurt financially by the United Health, Change Healthcare cyber attack this year.

‘The AHA said that 94% of hospitals reported damage to cash flow and more than half reported significant or serious financial damage due to Change’s inability to process claims.’

Reiterating what was discussed at the Senate Finance Committee and Energy and Commerce Subcommittee yesterday. When the CEO of United Health discussed the impact of the cyber attack, and committee members were clear that the attack was a National Security issue.
